Championship club Sheffield Wednesday has announced their retained and released list following the conclusion of the 2023-2024 season. Dominic Iorfa, son of former Super Eagles striker Dominic Iorfa Sr., is among the seven players offered new contracts. The other players include Barry Bannan, Cameron Dawson, Di’Shon Bernard, Liam Palmer, Will Vaulks, and Josh Windass.
Dominic Iorfa’s contract is set to expire at the end of June, and he will leave the club as a free agent if he does not sign the new deal. Iorfa joined Sheffield Wednesday in January 2019 from Wolverhampton Wanderers and has made 165 appearances for the club, contributing to ten goals.
